Anesthesia in Spokane, WA
What is intravenous anesthesia sedation?
Intravenous Anesthesia Sedation (often called IV sedation) is a medical technique where sedative medications are administered directly into a vein through an intravenous (IV) line. This method is used to help patients relax, reduce anxiety, and minimize discomfort during surgical or dental procedures.
The sedation level can range from mild to deep, depending on the medications and dosages used.
