General Anesthesia & IV Sedation for Oral Surgery
General Anesthesia & IV Sedation for Oral Surgery in Spokane, WA
General Anesthesia & IV Sedation
At Timberline Oral Surgery & Dental Implants, anesthesia is a critical part of ensuring your surgical experience is both safe and comfortable. Unlike sedation used in general dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgeons are uniquely trained to administer IV anesthesia and general anesthesia, providing hospital-level care in our state-of-the-art surgical facility.
These advanced anesthesia techniques allow us to perform a wide range of procedures—including wisdom teeth removal, dental implant surgery, bone grafting, and corrective jaw surgery—with maximum comfort and safety.

- IV Sedation (Intravenous Sedation): Medications are administered through a vein, creating a calm, sleep-like state while still allowing your body to respond naturally. This is ideal for moderately complex surgeries and for patients who experience dental anxiety.
- General Anesthesia: For more complex procedures, general anesthesia places you into a fully asleep state, ensuring you feel no pain or awareness during surgery. Our team closely monitors you with hospital-grade equipment throughout the entire procedure.
Every anesthesia plan is customized to your health history, procedure, and comfort level, so you can feel confident that you’re receiving the highest standard of surgical and anesthetic care.
